No. It is a discount plan offered directly by our practice. There is no insurer, no claims process and no prior authorization — you pay us once a year and the benefits apply immediately.
Immediately. Enrollment is instant whether you sign up online or at the front desk, and you can use the benefits at the same visit.
No annual caps. Your included comprehensive exam is once per year; the member pricing applies every time you come in for the rest of the year.
Many single-vision prescriptions can be made in one to two business days when the lenses are in stock. More complex prescriptions take longer, and we will tell you the timeframe before you order.
No. The membership cannot be combined with vision insurance. If you have VSP or EyeMed, use those benefits instead — we accept both.
Three groups: people with no vision insurance, people whose plan has a small allowance that runs out immediately, and contact lens wearers.
Each membership covers one person. Families are welcome to enroll several members; tell the front desk and we will set them up together.
The annual fee is non-refundable. Renewal is entirely optional — there is no rolling contract and nothing to cancel. The full terms and conditions set this out in detail.
Then it is usually still worth joining. The $119 membership costs about the same as a single comprehensive exam paid out of pocket, so the exam alone accounts for nearly all of the fee — and the member pricing stays available for the rest of the year in case anything changes.
