Finding Suite 280
Look for The Oaks — the two-story brown building set back from East 4th Street, with the lettering on the side wall. Park anywhere in the lot out front; it is free and there is no structure to navigate. Take the central stairway to the upper level and follow the walkway round to Suite 280.
Or write to us here
For anything that is not urgent. We reply during opening hours — if you need to be seen today, please call instead.
What to bring, and what to expect
A few minutes of preparation makes the appointment run better and gives Dr. Mai more to work with.
Bring with you
Your current glasses, contact lens boxes or prescription, your insurance or Medi-Cal card, and a list of medications — a surprising number affect the eyes.
Allow an hour
New patient paperwork takes a few minutes, so arrive slightly early. Choosing frames afterwards adds another twenty minutes or so.
Plan for dilation
If your exam includes dilating drops you will be light-sensitive and blurry up close for four to six hours. Bring sunglasses, and arrange a driver if you react strongly.
We would be glad to see you
Book online, or call and talk to someone at the front desk.
